Welcome from the Knowledge Equity Lab Summer 2023 Team. We are excited to bring you new projects, events and activities this summer! We would like to highlight some of our upcoming initiatives.

For the first time since launching, we’ve been blessed with the opportunity to hold in-person events like the K4C Summer Institute in Community-Based Participatory Action Research. A collaborative research initiative spanning 2 days. The event will be exploring equitable university-community research partnerships, mindful participatory observation and interviewing, participatory theatre, muralism and community mapping. Additionally, the team is working to connect several K4C hubs located around the world in an Open Knowledge Platform.

Our student team is routinely cultivating research papers spanning a wide range of topics including artificial intelligence, AI’s impacts on academic knowledge and teaching and learning.

Knowledge Equity Lab’s ongoing projects will continue to expand and improve! The Unsettling Knowledge Inequities Podcast series will be returning with a whole new season focusing on student voices and perspectives on the Impact of AI on Student Learning and Well-Being.

This summer the KEL Communications and Planning team is eager to bring you all the latest news and updates on our events and projects as they happen. Follow our social media pages to keep up with our lab!
